You’ve got questions…

We've got answers.

How long have you been photographing weddings?

I photographed my first wedding in 2011 and I never looked back. I knew right away this is what I wanted to spend my life doing and I feel lucky to have made that happen.

How soon should we book our wedding with you?

As soon as you can! I generally book up 18-24 months in advance, and many couples choose their wedding date based on my availability. Photography + Videography should be booked right after your venue!

How long will it take to get the photos after my wedding day?

You can expect your full wedding gallery within 6 weeks of your wedding day.

How many images will I receive?

The amount of images you receive depends on how many hours you’ve booked. You can expect 50-75 images per hour of coverage.

Will you help me with my timeline?

Sure thing! Your planner is your first stop when it comes to timeline planning, but I have examples of ideal wedding day timelines and can help you discover the perfect timing for your wedding day.

How do I book you?

The first step is to fill out my inquiry form. Once we’ve decided that we’re a good fit, a signed agreement and a 50% retainer will secure your date.

What happens if the weather isn’t good on the day of our session?

Weather can be unpredictable, and can change so quickly. For that reason, we’ll wait until the day of our session to make the call. If it’s raining, storming, or below 30 degrees, we’ll reschedule.

How far in advance should I book my session?

It’s best to contact me 4-6 weeks before you’d like to take photos. I can often get you in sooner, but during busy season (September – November) I’ll need as much notice as possible.

How long will it take to get my gallery back?

You can expect your full gallery within 4 weeks of your session.

How many images will I receive?

The minimum amount of images you can expect is 60, but you’ll often receive more!

Will you help me choose a location?

Absolutely! Once you’ve booked me for your session, I’ll send a guide + questionnaire that will help us decide the best spot for your photos.

Do you travel?

YUP. I travel for both weddings and engagement sessions for a travel fee.
If you’re thinking about eloping in a beautiful place, let’s chat.
Here are some of my bucket list locations:
USA: Washington State, Colorado, Hawaii
Banff, Canada, Northwest Europe, Greece

Do you have backup equipment?

Yes, yes and yes! I always bring multiple camera bodies + lenses, and plenty of batteries and memory cards! All of my camera bodies also have dual memory card slots to ensure your photos are safe even if one of the cards were to corrupt.

Can we print images on our own?

All galleries include printing rights, but quality definitely makes a difference. Professional prints are worth the investment, and your online gallery makes ordering them just as easy as it would be anywhere else.

Can I send you my Pinterest board with all the shots I’d like you to take?

If you’ve got a checklist of “must have” photos from Pinterest, then I’m probably not who you’re looking for. I really enjoy working with clients who trust in my ability and vision when it comes to telling your unique story.
